FOUR TOP MID-ATLANTIC TRAVEL AGENCIES FORM TLG TRAVEL MANAGEMENT
Jenkintown, PA, February 22, 2007 — Four top travel agencies in the Mid-Atlantic region have announced that they have merged operations to form TLG Travel Management. The four agencies include GTI Travel of Jenkintown, PA, Travel World of Clifton, NJ, Travel Gems of New York, NY and Travel Express of Nashua, NH. TLG is an associate of Carlson Wagonlit Travel Company.
The purpose in creating TLG was to take combined experience and resources and build a powerhouse of offerings that includes the best products and most sophisticated booking tools and reporting capabilities, at the lowest prices in the industry. The ownership of each agency remains the same.
“While our day to day operations will remain the same, our clients will benefit from the best of both worlds,” said Bonni Simon, president of TLG Travel Management. “TLG has the resources of a corporation, but we provide the personalized treatment of a small agency.”
The name – TLG – stands for The Leaders Group. The Leaders Group is a name given to only the top agencies in the Carlson Wagonlit network.
